Details of a piece from the John Galliano A/W 09 (i think) collectionon display in the QVB as a conclusion to an exhibition exploring recent “forward thinking” uses of Australian called Wool Modern, curated by Charlotte Lurot of Bacchus Studios in London.(Also on diplay were pieces by Charlotte Olympia, Vivienne Westwood, Sibling London, Thom Browne and Alaia)Super sad I missed the actual exhibition at Pier 1 and 2. But glad I saw this concluding mini exhibition.( a little ironic seeing pieces from designers not readily available for sale in this city on display in a major public shopping arcade)
